Fishing Birds at Kerr Lake

The day after Memorial Day, we headed up to Kerr Lake on the Virginia/North Carolina Border. Being man made, the lake is contained by John Kerr Dam which offered a spillway attracting fishing birds. Here are a few handheld shots on a sunny afternoon.

 Osprey

The Osprey were having good luck fishing.
Bald Eagles were looking for away to catch fish without getting wet.
Eagles were attempting to steal fish from the Ospreys. This time around, no one ended up with a meal.
